LACMA Stereoscopic 3D Animation

Get your 3D glasses on! Mob Scene hired me to create 3D light streaks in stereoscopic 3D for a 60-second spot for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art playing in local theaters before 3D movies. I tracked the live action footage in Boujou, solved for 3D cameras, and brought the cameras into After Effects in order to animte the light streaks using Trapcode's Particular 2.0 streaklet feature. Lots of roto and compositing followed, but the end result was worth it.
